The Academy Promotional Video Brief
Samuel Ryder Academy became the first all through school in Hertfordshire in 2013 and wanted a video production company that could film all of the different age groups from Primary right through to 6th form understanding how to approach those differing age ranges. They wanted to be distinct from the schools previous incarnation and improve perceptions in the local community.
The Solution
Filming all of the age groups gave the school the option to have a stand alone Primary video, alongside a unique promotional film that showed the nature of the all through school concept. The academy promotional video showed off the schools new house system at sports day with the youngest being supported by the older children. SRA has gone on to book us for further video projects.
The Outcome
We’ve become the Academy’s go to provider for video services. The most recent Samuel Ryder Academy promotional video has over 1300 views on YouTube alone and forms part of the school prospectus offering on it’s website.
What they said
“From the outset, Film Infinity were professional, well organised and flexible. They were able to get the best out of the students as well as providing impartial advice to ensure the best outcome. We are absolutely delighted with the video as it manages to both capture the ethos and culture of the School, as well as be informative and entertaining. I would recommend them without hesitation and will be using them again in the future”
Matt Gautier, Headteacher, The Samuel Ryder Academy St Albans.
What they said
“By having a school video, you are able to put together all the aspects of your school life. In a five, ten minutes, you are able to demonstrate the amazing facilities, environment, learning that goes on with within your school.
There’s often quite a lot of questions that prospective parents ask with regards to facilities, uniform, the structure of the day. By having a video you can demonstrate, with a real clear snapshot of what we want to achieve. But also parent facing, what they can take from it as well.
The days are really busy. They are full on days. It’s really important that we have a timetable and a schedule to work to, in guidance with video production team so that there is no dead time during those two days.
When I first saw the final film, it filled me with immense pride because there was a lot of hard work that went into the film. I highly recommend School Video production. A team that we as a school and as a Trust are really confident working with based on the facts that the end product is incredibly professional, but also the work and the environment they create means that the partnership is one that we are comfortable with, but also enables us to have a voice in what we want, but also we are guided with their expertise and also their experience”
Ed Coy, Deputy Headteacher, The Samuel Ryder Academy St Albans.
